Most helpful customer reviews 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. really love it By has i was very pleased with this purchase. it was easy to put together, my son had it together in an hour. it is a nice looking piece of furniture and the amount of heat it puts out is surprising. the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is it had a small scratch on the bottom piece but it was easily disguised, because of color i took a black marker and ran it over the scratch and it covered it, believe me i am very picky, and all in all i am very happy. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Fireplace console By giselle I love this fireplace - TV console. I live in a small townhouse and this really gives the place a homey feel. The extra storage comes in handy as well. I found it pretty easy to put together. I did it myself. I haven't used it for heat yet, but I am looking forward to this winter to give it a try. It arrived almost a week early, in perfect shape, not one scratch! Its true--its very easy to put together, looks much nicer than I had expected, the fire does actually look somewhat realistic, it throws out a considerable amount of heat (controlled by thermostat), and I love the remote that came with it. Another bonus is that my speakers fit in the side cabinets so I don't have to look at them AND the louvered doors can be left closed without muffling the speaker sound. The height of the unit is perfect too, I no longer have to prop my tv up on a tray. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the weight of my 42 inch Vizio made the top of the console sag in the center. Remedied that problem with the "optional" post, but the ad for this product says the console is idea for 50-Inch flat screen TV which I assume would weigh much more than the 42 inch that I have. Feels like I am at the spa By doiturselfpope After watching an episode of HGTV's Design to Sell, I got the idea to utilze a Console Table for my vanity in my master bathroom. I searched and compared pricing and found this table for different prices and as high at $219.00! I continued to search and found it for $139.00 on Amazon. As soon as it arrived I put it together. The legs were unsteady once attached to the shelf. After the table was fully assembled, it was perfect for my bathroom. Because the table is made of wood veneer and composite wood, I knew it would not last if it wasn't protected. I had a 1/4" glass cut to protect it and placed a The Tempered Glass Oval Shaped Vessel Sink and the 12" Brushed Nickel Vessel Sink Faucet on top and I was completely in awe! I have received so many compliments with this. I was told by a friend that the set up looked like a high end spa! I expected the quality to be a bit better for the price, but all the same it looks great. We had looked at the Espresso model but opted for this lighter color - so glad we did. Some reviewers on the espresso model stated that they were unhappy with the flame because there wasn't enough color variation, but we are very happy with it. We have wanted an electric fireplace for a long time, since we can't have the real thing. This would probably warm up our bedroom if it were in that room with the door closed, but we have this in our living room near a stairway and kitchen so we didn't notice a big difference in the overall warmth of the room. However, we have only had it for one day. Standing in front of it with the heat on high, it definitely puts out good heat though so we'll see after extended use how that goes. Of course pieces were not marked but not really difficult to put together, just time consuming. Shipping was another story, $102.00 which seems high but I searched everywhere for one that had some shelves for the DVDs and this was the only one I could find. Holds a 42 inch widescreen very nicely. I really like the cherry finish on it and the cabinet pulls. Hope this helps someone else. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Missing Parts By Bobbie Ben I ordered this TV stand after looking for a very long time for a stand that had the storage capacity I needed. The stand was ordered on 12/27/08, with an estimated delivery of 1/6 to 1/9/09. It wasn't even shipped until 1/6/09, and didn't arrive until 1/15/09. When I opened the box and began assembly, half the screws for the first step were missing. Also a shelf was packed damaged, as there was no damage on the box. I am now waiting for the replacement parts, which were ordered 8 days ago. This may be a lovely stand when it is assembled, but it has been nearly a month since I ordered it and I'm still waiting to see it put together. Update: 12/26/09 - Parts arrived, stand was easy to put together. However one of the doors is binding. Does not effect the look of the stand. It is a nice addition to my livingroom. It looks nice with other brown wooden furniture, holds the equipment on the inner shelf,the TV on the top. Cords run through a hold in the back. Has to be a few inches out from the wall for cords. Significant time required for assembly. Boxes heavy to carry up stairs. We needed help. Fireplace works great on thermostat with remote or can be used with no heat for a cozy look at night. We have a larger TV than that shown in the photo. The unit is top heavy with the TV on top. Suggest securing TV to wall. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. The firebox had an issue when first plugged in, the heater blower sounded like a sneaker in dryer (clunk, clunk). We took off the back panel and discovered that through shipping a metal plate had fallen unto a rotating piece. We pushed it back into place and the unit is working just fine. It looks real nice holding a flat screen tv and the cable components and dvd player fit perfectly. Yes, I would recommend it. See all 1 customer reviews...

Neeley I rated this TV console 5 stars because it is a very nice piece. However, the one that we received was NOT a brown cherry color nor did the color match the picture. It was much darker. In a low light room it looks almost black. Shipping took at least two weeks but that was mentioned when the order was placed. The unit arrived when promised and was delivered right into our family room. The movers were nice to unpack it and take the box away with them. The quality is very good all around. At 72" it is longer than most consoles which is needed with the new very large TVs. The glass doors slide easily. The drawers work well. The finish is very nice. This console is high quality. The only assembly needed was to put the handles on and push the pegs into the pre-drilled holes for the shelves. I wish the color matched the picture. I've seen the same piece elsewhere on the internet for $100-$500 more. Because the quality is great and the price was right, we are happy with the purchase. See all 1 customer reviews...
