It looks nice with other brown wooden furniture, holds the equipment on the inner shelf,the TV on the top. Cords run through a hold in the back. Has to be a few inches out from the wall for cords. Significant time required for assembly. Boxes heavy to carry up stairs. We needed help. Fireplace works great on thermostat with remote or can be used with no heat for a cozy look at night. We have a larger TV than that shown in the photo. The unit is top heavy with the TV on top. Suggest securing TV to wall. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. SEI Graham Media Console w/Fireplace By Jim This was the best product to fit my needs. Difficult to find a fireplace console that is over 3 feet tall. This is a quality product and works as advertised. Only issue I have is that it is not deep enough, but with some adjustments it works. The hole in the back for wires is not a big problem for me, but it could be positioned a little lower to hide wires better. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Fireplace By Mullet Love my new electric fireplace. It looks better than I anticipated. It does not put out much heat, but it is the effect that I was after more than warmth.
