I haven't actually used it yet. Looks like it will be very helpful for my very small house! Like the other reviewer said (who posted after I purchased the item) the chairs are very uncomfortable. I have not noticed any unevenness of the table, but then again my whole house is very uneven! My biggest complaint is the assembly. Make sure you have lots of time and space as well as a power screwdriver! You have to put something like 50 little tiny screws in the table top for the hinges. Also the instructions aren't that great! I don't think the people that wrote the instructions had ever actually put one of these tables together. At one point you are supposed to turn the table upside down. I did not because it was obvious the piece they had you put on right before would fall off and make more work for you. Also in the first step it would be a good idea to go ahead and put the casters on. It is hard to put together until these are on because it is very uneven. I was also missing 4 parts that I didn't want to wait for so I put it together without the parts. I don't think those parts will effect the sturdiness of the table. I will post more if I find out anything from the actual use of the product. I wanted people to know about the assembly and the uncomfortablness of the chairs now.Update:The chairs collapse very easily. They have collapsed on my kids numerous times! This usually results in a child on the floor with the chair on top. I changed my rating from 4 stars to one star because of this safety issue. Ridder Although this product did take far more time to assemble than most DIY projects, it was well worth the effort. Arrived in good shape with all parts intact. There are several mounting options and a wide variety of viewing angles available. The mounting allows for horizontal and vertical motion to find the ideal viewing angle. One reviewer mentioned shelf height issues (veritcal space for your equipment) but I had no issues with new and 15 yr old DVD players, home theatre amplifiers, etc. This unit IS HEAVY (remember I said it was well built), so I recommend moving the unit into place before adding the heavy glass shelves. It fits great in a corner and looks much richer than the huge majority of those costing several hundred dollars more. Being a guy, I was looking for function, but your much better half will find this a very attractive piece of furniture, unless she prefers cubbies or orange crates.... 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The materials are sturdy & well made. The hardware was all there however one of the magnet pieces that holds a cabinet door closed was ill made causing the magnet piece to come loose when door is opened/closed. Gerleman I bought this tv stand, thinking it was probably not very heavy, it was fairly cheap at the time, and I knew I'd have to assemble. But I needed something for a corner TV, DVD and cable area. It came in a really heavy box, and as an older woman, I struggled to get it into the house. I put it together, alone, in about 30 minutes. I used a Craftsman drill/driver. I put it in the corner, my plasma TV fits perfectly and its gorgeous. I think it is some veneer type wood, but I love it. Of course, I am a single older woman living alone, the heaviest thing to be on it is a cat. The doors are even, the storage area is large, and every day I realize that I love it. I moved a larger buffet type tv table into my bedroom, and this is a good replacement. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a darker, sort of Craftsman type table. The hardest part for me was getting it into the house, and getting the box and all those pieces of styrofoam out to the trash pickup. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. The product came with the bottom based board missing and the sccrews. I then asked them to ship it next day since I was leaving out of town for a week and a half and they told me no. Then when I got home I sent them an email with the part they were going to replace and nothing again. Sent them another email and they sent back stating again to send the part and I am still waiting another week and half later. When I opened the box the main front panels were all scratched. They are packed all together with no wrapping (protection) around the panels. Now I have to ship it back to get new parts sent to me. Watt I needed a stand for all my TV stuff and my new 55" flat screen and, after a few weeks of shopping, I picked this one. It arrived in a timely manner and with no damage. (Heavy sucker though) It took me about 2 hours to assemble. I've put together dozens (literally) of pieces of Ikea furniture and this ranks high for ease of assembly. It wasn't hard to put together but a couple of the steps were time consuming. The instructions were pretty clear; just pay attention to the details in the pictures and you won't go wrong. The pieces fit together very snuggly so it turns out to be a real solid piece of furniture. This is not a flimsy piece of put-together junk. The width is perfect for me - just wide enough to fill the wall space I wanted to fill. The four open shelves hold my cable box, blue-ray, VHS player and sub woofer just great. I haven't put anything in the two drawers yet except the paperwork for all the components. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is the tone of the wood finish. In the picture it looks much lighter than it really is. I thought it was a tone of almost a cherry wood but when they say Expresso, think dark. It still matches in my family room pretty well so I'm not totally disappointed.
